I embrace the philosophy of photographer Harry Callahan, who believes that “it is the subject that counts.” His awareness of his subject, his precision, dedication and devotion have earned him the respect of the artistic community. I have applied Callahan’s values and practices to my real estate business. It all begins with my having a genuine interest in my clients, focusing on and listening to their needs and objectives. I focus not only on finding just the right home, but also on ways to finance the property, the importance of location, and the energy levels surrounding the property. My goal is to build lifelong relationships with my clients by providing unparalleled service, education and advice. My motto - Focused on you.
I founded Terra Nova over 25 years ago to create a brand that does just that - focus on the client. That means educating my clients and delivering the very best service to them. And continuing to educate myself. The many and varied classes taken demonstrate my commitment to continuing education, such as courses in protecting the environment and understanding global real estate markets. I also hold a M.A and an Ed.M from Columbia University.
My special interests lie in finding and creating places for people to live whether finding a resale home, a villa in Italy, or creating an entire new neighborhood. In developing sustainable neighborhoods, it is important to create an environment where people can enjoy life to the fullest, where energy abounds and where quality and value prevail. I am proud to have helped create many neighborhoods in the area.
I have been privileged and honored to receive recognitions, such as REALTOR of the Year, Citizen of the Year from the Chamber of Commerce, the Citizenship Award from NC Association of REALTORS, WCHL’s Hometown Hero, the Straley Peace and Justice Award and Associates Award from the HBA.
